Whilethe USand the UK share the same language (with very different accents, of course), every day that passes makes it clear that they couldn't be more different from a cultural perspective. From my experience: • healthcare (obviously) • everything in the US is centered around money and profit and every little thing always has a fee tied to it • Brits and Americans are so culturally different - Brits are loud, swear a lot, drink constantly, Americans are more mellow and friendlier • both countries definitely have racism issues but I can't count the amount of expressly racist experiences I had in the UK as an Asian person where

My British friend's kids cried and cried when they came here for the first time since they thought all the fat people were eating the normal people and were worried I was in danger. I had to explain to them for over a week that they weren't cannibals.
